At the June 4, 2013 KCRTA meeting Cassandra Simpson a 2013 graduate of Fredericktown High School was the recipient of our $1000.00 scholarship. She is the daughter of Michael and Patricia Simpson.
Her educational activities included an Elementary Teacher Mentorship and a Middle School Math Teacher Mentorship. Through her involvement in LEO a school based community service club, she tutored fourth grade students who were having difficulty in math.
She served as Varsity Volleyball Team Captain,Knox County Career Center Ambassador and has been a member of the Fellowship of Christian Atheletes.
She participated ia a Presentation Management Competition for Business Professionals of America receiving third place.
She has beeen active in 4H-Canine Companions,Girl Scouts,Basketball and Softball.
